Triphala powder/churna is one of the oldest used polyherbal preparations. It contains three fruits of Terminalia chebula (Haritaki), Terminalia bellerica (Baheda) and Emblica officinalis (Amla). The three fruits, Amla, Harad and Baheda corresponds to three dosha of Ayurvedic medicine and balances tridosha of body.
Trifala churna has anti-obesity, antioxidant, anti-diabetic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, radio protective, immunomodulatory, anti-gastric ulcers, nitric oxide scavenging and cholesterol lowering activity.
Triphala cures constipation and purifies body. It removes toxin from liver, improves liver function and appetite. It not only cures liver and digestion problems but also supports better assimilation of nutrient in body.

How to prepare Triphala Decoction
- Take 1 teaspoonful of triphala powder.
- At night, soak it in water (200 ml).
- Next morning, boil this water till volume reduces to half.
- Filter and add 5-10 ml honey and mix well.
Drink this decoction hot and Repeat every morning for few days.
