Srikhandasava is polyherbal Ayurvedic medicine. This medicine is in liquid form and contains self-generated alcohol. Srikhandasava is referenced from Bhaishajyaratnavali, and is indicated Madatyayadhikara/for treating intoxication and related diseases.

Asava are fermented medicines of Ayurvedic system that contains alcohol. Asava are prepared by allowing medicinal herbs juice to undergo fermentation by adding jaggery/ honey/ sugar and Mahua phul, Dhai phul or babul bark in water. The fermentation is done by burying sealed pots in the ground or husk for a period of one month followed by filtration. The self-generated alcohol during fermentation extracts the active principles from the Key Ingredients and also acts as preservative.

All Asava have common property to improve digestive strength which means better digestion and assimilation of nutrients. This improves overall health of body. Also Asava, cures abdominal gas and removes urine blockage.

  • 24 grams each of Srikhanda or Shwetchandana, Maricha, Jatamansi, Haldi, Daruhaldi, Chitraka, Musta, Khus, Tagara, Draksha, Rakta chanadan, Nagkeshra, Patha, Amla, Pippali, Chayya, Laung, Elavaluka, Lodhra
  • Water 23.5 litre
  • Draksha 2.9 kgs
  • Jaggery/gud 14.4 kg
  • Dhataki phul 576 grams
