Rooh Afza sharbat is a tasty refreshing drink. In summer seasons, Rooh Afza can be added with other ingredients to make it more nutritive. As it contains invert sugar, so in such preparation there is no need to add extra sugar. Invert sugar is pale coloured sweetener prepared by the acid hydrolysis or enzymatic hydrolysis of solution of white refined sugar. Invert Syrup contains equal proportions of the invert (reducing) sugars viz. glucose and fructose. Here is given one such cool, refreshing drink with lemon and mint.
Recipe of Rooh Afza Minty Lemonade
- Take 1 glass of water.
- Add 3 tablespoon Rooh Afza.
- Add 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
- Add 2 teaspoon of chopped lemon juice. Mix well.
- Add ice.
- Serve chilled.
Mint leaves and lemon juice enhances the benefits of this drink. Mint leaves has soothing effect on digestive tract, eases abdominal pain, reduces IBS and eliminates toxins from body.
